What a Wonderful Wine Festival! 

We were thrilled to have been part of Laithwaites 2023 Wine Festival on Friday and Saturday last week at Olympia, London.

We so enjoyed meeting such lovely wine producers, festival goers and other artisan food producers. We were overwhelmed too by the wonderful feedback we received about our trout samples. 

Grant Headly, Laithwaites wine expert also paired some delicious wines with our trout for the tasting sessions.

The Vin de France was Fisherman’s Return which we paired with our Cold Smoked Trout. The wine’s grapefruit, lemon, green apple aromas provided a refreshing crispness while the Gavi di Gavi from Villa Broglia, Italy, with its fresh citrus fruit and herbal almond complexity was well matched to our Gravadlax

We shared lots of smiles and laughs too. A weekend to remember!
